On June 8, 2023, a Rakugokai performance was held at Seishin.
There were four actors. They explained that the most important points of Rakugo are how to speak, how to gesture, and how to end the story.
When a player told a story, they acted out two characters. It surprised all of us.
One of them was a street magician. He swung a glass of water around on a hoe. The three Rakugo players told funny stories. The master player used young people’s slang and it was very funny.
I would like to appreciate the charm of Rakugo again.
