Today we had a disaster drill. At 13:30 an “earthquake” occurred and everyone, including the teachers, hid under their desks. We also opened the windows so that we could escape at any time, just as if we were in a real earthquake. Incidentally, Seishin has enough food
reserves to last the entire school for two weeks.
Immediately after the drill, all the students gathered to listen to the principal’s words of
appreciation. She told us that since Seishin is a school rooted in the community, we should coordinate our escape with the nearby kindergartens and elderly people. We would like to make the most of this experience and cooperate with the local people in case of emergency.
