Mr. Go from Singapore Visits Seishin

On June 3, Mr. Go visited our school from the University of Singapore. He talked about the school system and the many cultures of his country.
The most impressive part of his talk was the draft system. Young men must serve in the military for two years between the ages of 17 and 19. I was very surprised by this.
He also told us that he started studying Japanese when he was 12 years old. He speaks Japanese fluently now. We must be inspired by his example and study English to speak it as well as he speaks Japanese!
